Son in Town (“we”) provides home checkups and practical help for homeowners in the Kansas City area. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
When you request a visit we collect the names, phone numbers, email addresses and relationship of the people involved (the homeowner, the person requesting, and whoever is paying), the home’s address, what you’d like help with, and any notes you give us about the visit. During a visit we may take notes and photos of the home to include in your report.
Payment cards
Card details are entered directly into Square’s secure form and stored by Square. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only the card type and last four digits so we know which card is on file.
How we use it
To schedule and carry out your visit, send reports to the people you choose, bill the responsible party, and contact you about your request. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: Square (payments), our email and text-message providers (to contact you), and our hosting provider. If you ask us to, we share visit reports with the family members you name.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number, we may text you about your request and visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by emailing info@sonintown.com or calling (816) 710-3271.
